Free Intro to Urban Bicycling Workshop

August 27, 2015 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Has it been a long time since you’ve ridden a bike or are you simply looking for a refresher? Come learn the basics of bicycling at our Intro to Urban Bicycling Workshop, hosted by the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition.

The course is a one-hour presentation covering many of the basics: the rules of the road, route planning, and, especially for Bay Area Bike Share riders, Bike Share 101.

The course is followed by an optional 30 minute guided ride using the Bike Share bikes. No membership is necessary. The ride is limited to the first 10 attendees to sign-up at the workshop. Helmets will not be provided but you are encouraged to bring your own.

This class is funded in part by Bay Area Bike Share, however it is open to members and non-members alike!

Please contact Ashley Hernandez at ashley@bikesiliconvalley.org with any questions.

The meeting space is provided as a community service by the City of Redwood City. The City neither sponsors nor endorses this event nor the presenting individual or organizations.

Located in the Small Meeting Room of the Main Library
