SUMMARY:Music in the Park
DESCRIPTION:Houston Jones \nAmericana \nThis San Francisco based high-octane Americana quintet performs an original repertoire that ranges from bluegrass and folk to blues and gospel. \nHouston Jones invites you into a world of musical virtuosity and storytelling that ranges from the myths of ancient Greece to the red dirt back roads of Waskom Texas. The acoustic heart of the band beats with the passion of five lifetimes lived in a musical landscape of gospel revival tents to Irish pubs\, New Orleans to the Great Plains to Motown\, a church in Cape Cod to a punk club in Berkeley. \nAll this translates into an explosive\, wide-ranging performance that will touch your heart\, expand your mind\, and get your feet moving of their own volition.

SUMMARY:Used Motor Oil Filter Exchange Event
DESCRIPTION:Get a FREE oil filter when you recycle your used ones! \nUsed Motor Oil Filter Exchange\, hosted by San Mateo County Environmental Health Services. Bring in your used motor oil and oil filters for recycling and receive a new filter for free. San Mateo County Environmental Health staff will be on hand with information about used motor oil and filter recycling as well as safe disposal of other automotive and household products. Free motor oil recycling kits are available. \nRadio KBRG will broadcast live from the event! \nUsed motor oil filters can and should be recycled\, along with used motor oil. Even after it has been drained\, a used oil filter contains over half a pint of oil. If the filter is disposed of improperly\, this oil can contaminate our neighborhoods\, soil and water. Each filter also contains about one pound of steel that can be readily recycled into new products\, saving energy and preventing pollution. \nWhile the filter exchange event encourages filter recycling on the spot\, used motor oil filters can be recycled free of charge year round at over 65 drop-off locations throughout the county. \nFor a list of locations visit www.smchealth.org/UsedOil.
