They have achieved this by presenting the most timeless pop/soul music of our time in an electrifying high-style show that pulls the audience directly into the heart of their performance. “It’s always been natural for us to reach out and drawin the audience. We make the people feel they’re part of the performance because they are\,” says Pride & Joy founder and bandleader Coleman Burke. “That’s what Pride & Joy has always been about – – creating a great feeling in the room. That’s as important a part of our show as the work we put into our look\, choreography and arrangements.”

SUMMARY:Kidchella - Andy Z and the Andyland Band
DESCRIPTION:Redwood City is proud to offer our kids music series for a third year! For three Sundays this summer\, the ubiquitous Andy-Z will be the Master of Music and Play by bringing his high energy to Courthouse Square. Sponsored by Redwood City’s Public Library and Parks\, Recreation and Community Services Department\, this series will provide a safe and fun environment for kids to dance and enjoy live music from 11am to 1pm. Your family will be thrilled to enjoy free live music\, along with an inflatable play-land at the Kidchella series this summer! \nAndy Z\, winner of Disney Interactive’s iParenting Media Award\, delights kids and kids-at-heart with his musical adventures in the make-believe world of Andyland. His music has been heard on NBC’s Today Show and his performances have been featured in the Pandora Video Series and on the Pottery Barn Kids Stylehouse website. Children are drawn in by his energetic music that runs the gamut from educational to just plain silly; dance songs to sing-a-longs to full body movement. Genres include rock\, British pop\, jazz\, folk\, country\, hip-hop\, blues\, Irish and classic traditional kids’ tunes. The Andyland Band makes the most of the harmonic energy provided by an electric performance and feature props and costumes. Their dynamic performances are not to be missed.
