Redwood City Improvement Association Announces Eat, Sip & Be in RWC Open Air Dining Experience
Eat, Sip & Be in RWC is an exciting open-air experience welcoming downtown restaurants and cafes to expand their dining to the streets. The program is intended to support local businesses by allowing them to serve onto their adjacent sidewalks and in nearby parking spaces. Eat, Sip & Be in RWC will take every day starting January 27, 2021.
To help maintain a safe and healthy environment for our community, there will be public hand sanitizer stations available for use. In addition, physical distancing protocols will be enforced and masks are required when not seated at a table.
It is also recommended that diners make reservations at participating restaurants of choice in advance.
Street Closures:
The following streets will be closed to allow businesses to expand their offerings.
- Broadway between Jefferson and Main Street
- Main Street between Stambaugh and Middlefield Road
- Theatre Way
- Broadway between California and El Camino Real – Vehicle traffic allowed, parking stalls are closed for Outdoor Dining
